How it starts:
As a commercial for a parent brand with multiple products, the strategy was not to promote any single item, but to strengthen the emotional connection between the brand and its audience. Instead of leading with product features, the concept focused on reunions after the long separations of the pandemic, using moments between partners, families, and friends to reflect a feeling many people had experienced and could immediately relate to.

The process:
During script development, I explored different expressions of reunion and narrowed them down to three scenarios that felt the most emotionally recognizable after 2021. That decision helped keep the story focused while allowing the campaign to speak to a wide audience.

On set, we worked with a crew of around 20 people. As both producer and assistant director, I managed logistics, supported the crew, coordinated with the location team, and oversaw file handovers throughout the shoot. Because the project combined VFX with real-screen footage, I also planned the timing of live shots carefully to reduce unnecessary post-production workload later on, which helped save significant time in post.

It was a packed three-day shoot, but the production ran smoothly. In post-production, I took on editing and worked closely with a motion graphics designer to refine the text animation based on stakeholder feedback.

The result:
The final video performed beyond expectations, with strong viewership, high engagement, and a warm audience response. Although direct conversion was not the primary focus, the campaign successfully delivered on its main objective by building a positive and emotionally resonant brand impression.
